Saito stands before the opponent with a piercing stare as his blood boils. the smell of blood from this individual was strong and the sight of him was somewhat intimidating. Saito took no regard to those signs, nor does he ever due to his thrill for the battle which he tries so hard to contain inside. He knew that this battle was gonna be one to remember.
he then began throwing 3 kunai with the center kunai attached with a smoke bomb, before suddenly dashing at high speed via chakra focused to his soles. while he advances he draws his blade and uses his chakra flow to channel chakra into his blade while drawing it from the scabbard, hanging from his right hip with his left hand. the moment he noticed that the opponent's vision is hindered due to the smoke bomb going off once it reaches the opponent's immediate area, he quickly passes the opponent while thrust his blade slashing his opponent.

As he finished his sentence he saw his opponent reach into his pouch and grab three kunai, due to his increased perception he was able to easily see this action, as the man released them Lavi noticed a smoke bomb on the center one, swiftly grabbing his own kunai he threw it with pin point accuracy at the center Kunai, as both blades struck they would pivot upwards causing the smoke bomb to explode closer to the man instead of Lavi. As this happens Lavi clicked the switch on the side of his sheath allowing his Raiton chakra to pour in and charge the blade. With his enhanced perceptiopn he left his left hand on the trigger and his right hand out infront as he took a generic stance with his right foot backwards and knee's bent slightly. As the man broke through the smoke Lavi was easily able to see the chakra extending from the blade increasing its length and stabbing capability. Using this Lavi clicked the trigger on his blade shooting the lightning covered vibro blade from its sheath in an upwards cresent slash knocking the mans sword up over his head with enough force the send the black upwards along with the mans arm, as the blade knocked the mans sword upwards Lavi spung his entire body and his sword a full 360 degree's and swung the sword into the mans stomach slicing him in half the instant Lavi's blade made contact.

Description: Muramasa no tachi (Muramasa for short), is a modern sword named after the famous blacksmith, Muramasa. Although not crafted by Muramasa himself, the sword is his living legacy heavily emphasizing on attack strength. Opposite of most weapons, the blade is not ancient neither imbued with any magical forces. Instead it combines the Muramasa’s own sword crafting skills with a hint of modern ninjutsu & kenjutsu techniques to generate effective strikes with overwhelming damage output.
The sword is a “Tachi” not a Katana, with chakra receptors all around the hilt that manage inflow and outflow of energy across the sword and the user (general electrical energy from lightning release, but may involve other elements if used with a Custom jutsu). The hilt includes a switch the activates the receptors allowing the user to freely channel energy across the sword and his body. The sword is a vibroweapon, a high frequency blade similar to the ones used by Kirabi and Sasuke, meaning that it uses electrical energy to generate molecular vibration which, on physical contact, breaks the molecular bonds of other matter allowing the blade to effortlessly cut through objects. Murasama’s ancient sword development techniques were used to design the blade which makes it highly conductive, the different layers of alloy makes use of the peltier effect to keep the heat energy at the swords core without radiating any outside, the reduced loss of energy combined with the continuous supply of lightning chakra from the user soon charges the blade, changing its color to red. The sword leaks out electrical electrical energy of red wavelength, the red color is an indicator of the abnormal amount of energy flowing through the blade which allows Muramasa to cut objects better more easily than any other weapon known. The cutting potential of the sword could be defined with examples, Flying Swallow technique and both Sasuke and B’s vibroblades are able to pierce through steel with their weapons, Muramasa only takes this ability further effortless piercing through diamond, further more making it extremely lethal for person if hit directly by blade.
However this attack strength, abnormal as it may be, isn’t Muramasa’s primary ability. Muramasa’s main feature is its sheath: where the sword helps maximize the cutting ability, the sheath helps the user muster enough strength, this means while Muramasa has the potential to cut through diamond, it is unable to without the proper input of force. Unique to the sheath is its ability to store energy for burst damage when unsheathed, its features a trigger which when released would launch the blade outside for a single “Quickdraw” technique, which provides the necessary strength to perform such a powerful slash. The Quickdraw technique is Muramasa’s signature skill, when released the blade is launched out of the sheath like a ballistic shot which allows a swift Iaido strike extremely difficult to track within close proximity. The technique would however possess a downside in precision, because of the speed of this technique the single strike wouldn’t land if used either a second early or a second late. Quickdraw skill generates great force, combined with the piercing ability of the blade it allows great feats for both offense and defense. I.e. If the Quickdraw ability is used to slice through an earthen projectile aimed at the user, Muramasa would slice cleanly through the projectile, but the force granted by the sheath will be enough to alter the trajectory of the projectile and divide it to move past the user without harm. For intangible objects, such as Wind or Water, the strike force will distort the shape. The Quickdraw skill ensures that the blade destroys anything with the potential to be harmed (With the exception of Indestructible objects and anything else within reason, the ability is not absolute), the damage is further enhanced if combined with techniques that allow extreme movement such as the Lightning release armour or Swift release Shadowless Flight technique due velocity multiplying force. with his blade knocked upwards it would seem that he would be left completely open for an attack. But, on the contrary, with Saito's quick thinking, he quickly lets go of the hilt of his sword with his right hand in order to grip the wakizashi on his right hip, invertedly, before drawing it while using his chakra flow to channel chakra into the blade of the wakizashi and ridging the edge of it. Using the weight of the his katana to his advantage, he leans back slightly while positioning the chakra coated wakizashi to parry his opponents blade downward as his opponent swings at Saito's stomach from the 360 spin.
while the opponent is stuck in the angular momentum of his swing, Saito swiftly brings down his katana held in his left hand, on the opponents trapezius muscles on the side of his neck the moment he's left defenseless.

Nice move, but due to proximity to parry my sword you'd have to physcially move backs, blocking i see as perfectly possible and reasonable, but a parry at such close range would most likely send my blade downwards to your legs IMO

As both blades are holted and unmoving Lavi grins widely and speaks,

knowing that their strength was equal due to the sword lock, Saito didn' t bother to compete when it came to strength, when he himself knew that he wasn't the strongest of the two. Instead, he quickly unlocks the two blade and quickly backsteps with his left foot while reaching into for a kunai before swiftly tossing it, distracting his opponent while gaining distance. Once he gains about 3m of distance between himself and his opponent, he then sheaths his Wakizashi before placing his right hand, the hand that held the wakizashi back to the bottom half of the hilt of the katana.
Saito: I was never a fan of Nitojutsu. im more of Iaijutsu Samurai
At those words Saito then sheath his katana also but differently than with his wakizashi. Saito placed his hand on the scabbard while he Sheath the Sword inside it. with Saito's right thumb resting against the tsuba of the sheath katana, from there he lowered his center of gravity by spreading his feet apart shoulder's width with his left leg leading, left foot pointing towards his opponent and his right leg slighty bent behind Saito with his right foot pointing towards the right side and hovering his hand above the handle of the katana. after utilizing his chakra flow to focus chakra to the soles of his feet, Saito pushes powerfully off the ground with his leading foot, dashing, reaching high speeds at a high velocity, in a moment he quickdraws his katana while Channeling chakra and ridging the edge of the blade as he slashes his opponent while passing them. Saito then swings the blood off of his blade before re sheathing it back into the scabbard when you finally feel the pain of the slash i made.

As saito was closing in on his opponent to perform his quickdraw technique, he noticed his opponent making a quick sidestep with his right foot propelling him to Saito's left side causing Saito to miss his target. Saito was impressed of the agile nature of his opponent and was assured that this battle was going to be one that he would remember. To show he was impressed, without realizing it, Saito grins while keeping track of his opponent. knowing that he was stuck in his linear momentum he knew that he was left open had to do some quick thinking in order to defend himself.
At that very moment, He noticed his opponent twisting his body in a familiar way, being a master in the way of the sword he could tell he was going to make a swing with his sword that could do damage that would hinder his abilities to fight and that was something that he couldn't risk, especially with his pride on the line. due to his sudden increase in speed he could reposition himself for another attack, reason being he wouldnt be fast enough to defend against it. He figure that he had no other choice but to make a coherent movement fast enough to get him just enough time to successfully defend
the moment Saito comes to this conclusion, with the use of his chakra flow he continues to channel chakra into his blade and applying shape manipulation by ridging the cutting edge of the blade as he makes the next step a small leap off the ground. Instead of the swing of the quickdraw stopping, Saito uses the angular momentum of the swing to aid him in making an arial 360 spin, slashing everything around himself with his sword while keeping the speed of his quickdraw, causing the two swords to clash with just enough to push back his opponent's blade as well.
As his opponent's off balanced and Saito touches the ground before he turns to face his opponent, He quickly reaches and tosses a smoke Kunai towards the opponent with it going off as it gets close to the opponent before quickly following up with a downward diagonal slash from left to right releasing an arc projectile to slice the opponent.

The next few seconds went by quickly, although seen in a much slower resolution due to his sharingan it still flashed by in nearly an instant, as Lavi's blade inched closer to the mans shoulder he suddenly leapt upwards, easily keeping track of his linear movements he was capable of tracking his movement, as the man leapt up and spun his body Lavi saw the mans hand inch closer to his sheathed blade, recognising this from the only so recent swift quickdraw ability, Lavi swung his sword and then proceeded to block the back end of his own sword creating a shield infront of him using his sword, as he did this the mans movements became slightly blurry as he swiftly drew and sheathed his sword, but by blocking Lavi avoided any damage the man could have dealtt with his current angle. Being pushed back he was slightly off balance but due to no actually touching the ground he was capable of easily restabilising himself. As the man threw a kunai with a smoke bomb attached Lavi began retreating rather swiftly to almost mid range, as the kunai came cloe lavi easly deflected it with his own blade but shortly after doing so a chakra cresent wave came towards him, using his sharingan he was able to track the waves movement and speed and swung his blade at the same angle of the cresent slicing straight through it and distrupting the chakra inside thus disappating the strike. After such he heard the man ask his name,
I am Lavi Uchiha of the Hidden mist, you claim me to be worthy opponent, yet you continually use tricks to try and distract me, do you have such little faith in your own Kenjutsu abilities that you resort to smoke bombs consistantly? Or is it that you don't want me to see the utter fear in your eyes?

As lavi replies to Saito's statement he hears the subtle insults that lavi throws to taunt him and demean his skills as a samurai. but on the contrary Instead of being insulted, Saito chuckes which progresses to an all out hysterical laugh. he then states...
Saito: this wolf doesn't play with his food. plus you have something i don't i will just leveling the playing field. But, i see your point, and i will take you up on that challenge.
At that moment, Saito reached into his pouch and pulled out all the smoke bombs that were in his pouch threw them to the side. meanwhile, Saito's eyes never avert from Lavi's direction for even a moment. Saito then grins, a sinister grin, most likely derived from the bloodlust that he tries to keep dormant, since being bloodthirsty is not part of bushido(the way of the samurai). However noticing the caliber of this person's sword skill excites him!
Saito: Be careful what you wish for...There! now there will be no more Smoke bombs in this battle. nothing but pure kenjutsu and taijutsu, just the way you like it.
At that moment, with a high velocity, Saito enters the same quickdraw position as earlier, before suddenly charging at Lavi at full speed. When Saito's in range he quickly dips before releasing a swift sweep kick with his left leg from right to left to knock Lavi off balance while quickdrawing his sword and slashing in an upward diagonal motion that immediately follows the sweep leaving little to no time to react resulting in slashing the right side of Lavi's torso.
To finish off lavi, Saito repositions his blade, holding it with only his left hand with it parallel to the ground before using the strenght in his shoulders, bicep, elbow, and wrist to thrust the chakra channeled blade thru his chest, thus impaling Lavi and concluding the battle.
Saito: This is what you wanted! This is the end!
Listening to the mans words Lavi's gaze did not change, although as the man threw away the smoke bombs and spoke once more his face took on one of sadness and disappointment,

Saito noticed that his Sweep kick, due to the leap of Lavi, didn't connect but still Saito still proceeded by Drawing his blade at extremely high speeds trying to slash Lavi. Unfortunately Lavi also used his quick draw technique as well, drawing his blade as speed faster than that of Saito's. With both of their Techniques clashing, The Strength of Lavi's technique disarms Saito sending his katana behind him, stabbed thru the ground. meanwhile, a backlash was caused to Lavi by the clash as well. In that small window of time Saito quickly backsteps to pull his Katana out of the ground and take the waki gamae stance.

Seeing that Lavi is effected by the pain of being slashed across his chest, Saito slides his right hand which is on the scabbard closer to the tsuba of the sheathed sword while resting the thumb up against the Tsuba, before using that thumb to unlock the sword from the sheath. from there Saito draws the sword from the sheath at extreme speeds before slashing upward diagonal from the right this time leaving a X across Lavi's torso.
without a moment to spare, in a coherent motion, Saito makes a simple lateral swing of his sword, from right to left only stopping an inch away from Lavi's neck.
Saito: I will not decapitate you. your cuts are not deep so you will survive as long as you get medical attention. I really did enjoy this Duel, Lavi. Maybe sometime in the future we can Duel again.
