I liked it a lot. Like you said it got all this hate for no reason, the story was really good. Heavy rain had a slightly better storyline but Beyond Two Souls had way better gameplay and a really good story of its own.
Yeah right? I mean I get why it didn't reach people's expectations but still, it was a great game and I had a blast playing it. I've clocked around 10 hours of a great story and I've still got to see the many other endings/decisions.
Which ending did you see so far? Just curious.
I go the one were she lives happily with Ryan so far, I'm a start my second play through one of these days.
Thought it was a great game definitely in my top 10 for 2013. The story was great, graphics great, soundtrack was good. A lot of the chapters had completely different settings which was awesome and added a nice change of pace. A ton of replay ability because of all the alternate ways to play. So a greatggame in my book.
And I loved Heavy Rain by the way as well. I think the people who say there not games are stupid. Are point and click games not games? Of course there games the only difference is how giant the story is. And when you think about that's what games like Beyond 2 Souls and Heavy Rain are.
I got the one where she lived with Jay, Cole and Nathan died at the end.

Cole was alive in mine.
Well from the hate I've heard on this game it was because the story jumped around too much. So I guess it confused a lot of people? Idk but I thought it was cool how it kept jumping from different times in her life, it was like a really good movie.
Damn I didn't know you could save him....Thought he was a goner.
Amazing game. I'd give it a solid 9/10, if not stretching it to 9.5. The dynamics of the storyline were amazing, controlled choices held weight, and the graphics were very good. Ellen Paige was perfect for her role. I got the ending where she ended up with Ryan in the mortal world, Cole survived but Nathan killed himself. I'm thinking of doing a run through where I choose the afterlife to see how that goes.
Did you try healing his wounds with aiden? Or did you just leave him there?
You can also save Paul in the Navajo desert level. I've done all the ending's but my 1st playthrough I saved Cole and was able to give Nathan closure so he got to be with his family. And I picked the ending with the homeless people. But I kind of disliked that one because Aiden wasn't there.
What was everyone's favorite level in the game? Mine was the Navajo one but there where a lot I liked.
Left him there, didn't know I could actually save .

Lmao, did your Ryan have an eye patch from losing an eye? I was wondering if I could have saved his eye by talking during the torture scene.
Yeah I saved him too in the desert. What was weird though was when Jodie left and they were waving goodbye the grandma was there too for some reason after we just went to her funeral, so maybe it was a glitch? Also I stayed with Ryan and Aiden was still there, it was a really happy ending.
My favorite level was the homeless one or the one where they send her into the hospital to close the gate.
