Why? Cause there is a genjutsu technique that requires you have a sword.

Description: The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu which causes them to hallucinate multiple waving arms. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down.

Okay so with this one, you wave your sword back and forth, by doing this, this initiates the genjutsu, the target will believe they are seeing multiple waving arms, using this technique places the target off guard so you can cut him down, downsides about this technique, requires a sword, and the range is meh. But could be handy here and there, I've never used it so I have yet to correctly get the full potential out of this technique.

Idk. Maybe when I see the rhythm continues, and he doesn't attack, I'll guess I am in one

(Genjutsu: Kasumi) - Illusion Technique:
Servant-- the opponent most likely want the clone to come into close range before fighting the clone and the bomb explodes
(Kasumi Jūsha no Jutsu) - Mist Servant
Technique-- Can be used to analyze the opponent and also waste his chakra
(Magen: Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu) - Demonic
Illusion: False Surroundings Technique- By making a fake handseal, you make it look like a waterfall emerge

Description: The user will trap the target within an illusion where the opponent appears to be trapped in a large flower bud which then explodes. The opponent is made to believe that an explosion actually occurred and collapses, believing himself to be injured. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage.

So; this one, I think you just look at the target and thus places them in this gen, this technique will make the target think they are trapped in a large flower bud, which blows up. The target will think the explosion actually happening; leaving the target with metal damage on them. I personally find this technique really, really obvious.

-It blocks the opponent's view
-It can be easily activated since it deals damage
-It puts mental stress on opponent
Disadvantages-
Since the flower bud just materialize,its easy to
break

Use in battle:I will use this Jutsu as this blocks the opponent's view hen quickly throw a shadow
shuriken at the opponent

Perform:I concentrate my chakra into my head when
i have gathered enough,i release it into the air
making it get into the user's chakra pathway, forcing
it into my opponent's brain while connecting to his
optical sense producing a picture of a flower bud
which explodes around them and i also make them
believe they sustained damage

Stabbing your elbow, would cause a huge amount of pain, it would make you unable to use your arm. You could also use Kai, to spike your chakra system to get you out of the genjutsu, that technique is coming up shortly.

Also did you know, you can infuse the weapon you are stabbing yourself with katon chakra to stop the bleeding and cauterized the wound at hand.
