[Question] Ichigos two sword .

Are Ichigos two swords his bankai ? I mean he went to the king place to reforge his bankai.
So does his double swords are his bankai or his shikai ?

I think one is hollow release and the other one is a shinigami release and there's going to be a 3rd Quincy release.

It's just his regular Zanpakuto(s).

His Shinigami powers are mixed with hollow powers in one Being( Hichigo who is the spirt of the big sword) and the small sword is his Quincy Powers ( Fake Zangetsu )

I was discussing this with a friend. I guess, considering that his shinigami clothes seemed to be just like they are usually are instead of the bankai clothes, it's his shikai. That's because ichigo usually has his zanpakutou relesead, so it would make no sense for him to have the zanpakutou "locked" now.

If that's his shikai, I'm crazy to see how his new bankai will look like. And damn it, show ichigo already. i want to see him kicking ass.

I re-read the chapter where Ichigo's Zanpakuto is reforged. Ichigo said the both are Zangetsu. And the guy how reforged asked him how those Zangetsu are? So it must be his shikai, because his bankai will be Tensa Zangetsu.

I think that this one is his real bankai, and the one we knew was like Hihio Zabimaru or Fuji Kujaku.

If you not read well, Ichigo now use the real powers , means now he use the inner hollow powers not the fake since fake is gone, so from now you will see the true power of Ichigo with inner hollow and for Tensa Zangetsu i doubt it was fake , there isnt him anymore he should use now as main inner hollow

Tensa Zangetsu was "Lost" when Ichigo used the Final Getsuga. So it will be something new. His current blades are his Shikai. Both to him are Zangetsu, one representing the Quincy "Zangetsu", the other representing the Inner Hollow. We have yet to see if he will have a new Bankai.

Its definitly his shikai form. You cant tell by 2 things.

1 - his swords are both large in form, not slim & agile. His Bankai is always condensed for maintaining strength and speed. Kubo so far has not changed the primary aspects of any Zanpakuto or Bankai's.
2 - he is still in his kimono robe and not in his Bankai form sleek Jacket. note the collar and lack of button up.

But one thing is for sure - Ichigos Fighting style will be alot different.

Those are his regular Zanpaktou. However considering his Zanpaktou is always permanently in a released state, it's also his shikai. He hasn't shown his new bankai yet. Yes he came there to restore his bankai, however it was said it wasn't his real bankai nor his real zanpaktou. The ones which he has now are the real ones.
