Gotta say Kishi didn't live up to expectations with the war, so much potential imo

-No Neji Hyuga 1v1 Fight(Kidomaru Rape Doesn't Count)

-No Detailed 7 Swordsmen of the Mist Skills

-No Izuna Uchiha

-No Shisui Uchiha

-No Sakumo Hatake

-No Jiraya

-No Great Combos(Lee+Neji, Shikamaru+Temari, etc.)

-No 1v1 Darui

-Akatsuki were basically fodderized too quickly

-No Itachi vs Madara Confrontation

-No Tobirama Suiton Feats of him being above Kisame

-Side Characters Didn't Get Much Love(Genma, Iwashi, Tatami, Raido, etc.)

-ALOT of TNJ(talk no jutsu)

-Obito was solo'd with friendship(i wanted to see sasuke kill him tbh)

-Kage Bodyguards should have fought with the Kage(Imagine Madara and Mu vs Gokage, Kurotsuchi, Kitsuchi, Ao, Chojuro, Temari, Kankuro, Cee, Darui, lets give the leaf: Genma and Raido maybe

As well, how many of you know that Kishi has a chronic thing of his own, also?

I know the War isn't the best Arc, however, just give the man a break. He's taking from his own time and his own health to come-up with new chapters for the audience when he could've just taken a long break and that's it.

Honestly, no one is treating him like 'crap'. People are just 'critisizing' his work. Kishimoto is an author, and I am an artist, and we both know and accept that other people will critique what we produce no matter what we are going through in our lives. You have to listen to other people's opinions; not be ignorant to them. Just because his personal life is rough at the moment, doesn't mean we should lie and say his work is perfect, because it isn't.

There is a difference between critisizing and hating for no apparent reason.

People are forgetting that you can only do so much in a certain amount of time, if Kishi had added all that it would have extended the war by at least two years.

He can only put so much in a arc, plus he didn't originally intend to do a war arc so he wasn't really prepared to do one.

considering how often kishi went into detail on: rin, flashbacks in general tbh, etc. it took away time that could have been used for great battles. I loved alot of Naruto Battles i'm not saying i hate Kishi and RIP to his Father i'm just critisizing what i believe could have been improved. Kishi layed out a lot of great characters that never got to shine:

Hiashi
Sakumo Hatake
Izuna Uchiha
Shisui Uchiha
Hiruzen(working on it atm)
Asuma(to an extent he never got to shine)
Kurenai(gets solo'd by Itachi, done)
Baki(could have seen something else tbh)
Kabuto(Base) (could have seen him training with sound 5 or something)
Sound 5(could have seen them training/missions/etc)
Orochimaru(I'm sure he has more in his arsenal that he's showing he wants to learn every jutsu)
Jiraya(would of loved to see him in another big fight)
Neji(he needed a 1v1 fight vs something powerful)

 

[Itachi Edo]

There are parts I didn't like, but if he went more in detail we're looking at another 2 years of material. I think he had a ambitious idea and executed it as best as you could given the scale of the war.

Personally, I think he bit off more than he could chew and that's why the war got more focused, Kabuto vs Itachi and Obito vs Naruto and Madara vs the Kages. Makes it easier to tell the story. My only gripe was missing Kakashi's rampage, we needed a chapter of that.
