(THIS THEORY IS POSSIBLY WRONG I REALIZE, IN CLOSER INSPECTION: THE NEW EYE NURTURED BY MADARA IS MOST LIKELY A REFERENCE TO SASUKE JOINING HIS SIDE, BUT THE INFORMATION PROVIDED IN THIS OPENING POST IS STILL GOOD INFO AND SHOULD BE CONSIDERED!) Basically what lets me know that there is a new eye beyond the rinnegan is what Madara says at the bottom of this panel:

And I think the new EYE beyond the Rinnegan must be

The Elder son's eyes

The difference between the Elder's eyes and the Rinnegan is apparent but overlooked

Although you may easily be led to believe that Kishi's drawing of the Elder son's eyes was actually just a Rinnegan drawn in some old-mythy-look, I challenge to say maybe not.


Now, my logic behind it is that instead of just only circles connecting each other; the Elder son's eyes actually CIRCULATE INWARD and do not connect; as if to pronounce that the GENJUTSU is being cast by the holder of the eye!

Thus it is as if the eye draws in all power to itself and casts a genjutsu on everything else!



The new EYE is the step above the Rinnegan and must be obtained by fulfilling the will of the JUUBI probably by killing or absorbing the power from an Uchiha (Hyuuga count)-Senju (Uzumaki count) and only obtained by an Uchiha (since they are the cursed clan with that SPECIAL CHAKRA aka the Juubi-demon chakra). The way this power would work is that the cursed chakra of the Uchiha- as explained by the 2nd Hokage actually originates from the Juubi and so it leads the Uchiha to act ON BEHALF OF THE JUUBI by killing and conquering to take back its own power.

This would explain why one of the Six paths powers- the 'Preta Path' gained thru the RINNEGAN (only) grants the power to absorb somebody's chakra and why Madara uses it so much, to reiterate the point that the Uchiha fulfill the Juubi's will: taking back what was stolen from it/them.

The reason why the Rinnegan does not become the Juubi's eye is because humans even though cursed by the god tree and its hatred- they are separate beings: also the sage may not have had stronger EYES than his son because he was not influenced by the Juubi, in fact he manipulated it, but the Uchiha ancestor ended up becoming much more influenced by the curse of hatred; it must be that the god tree was the originator of the curse of hatred! More powerful sharingan = more Juubi-demon chakra!

Thanks Minato! Yea I'm definitely not saying Sasuke will get it, I'm pretty much implying Madara will and him only. I think the whole Sharingan to MS to EMS falls in the direction of the curse of hatred, (even when Itachi unlocked MS, it was due to something negative) so it is possible there is a skill obtained by Uchiha that leans more in the direction of the will of fire!

Where does it say that he lost to his brother? They fought but he didn't kill his brother and wasn't killed either, so TIE. You could say he lost because he was unable to kill him but still. What I said was that his EYES were stronger than the SAGE'S, think about it, the SO6P must have had little combat experience he just sealed the Juubi or whatever and eating one fruit did not give Kaguya or the sage ALL of the Juubi's powers. The curse of hatred builds upon the God tree/Juubi's powers and not the Sage's powers!

In my opinion, I thought the Elder Son's eyes would be simply a different variation of the Rinnegan, maybe even a step below I suppose. Since the So6P created the Elder Son, I doubt he would have created an eye that surpassed his own, at least in power.

The way I see it, if he were able to unlock the next level of his eyes, it would be the Elder Son's eyes.

Rinnegan = EMS + Uchiha DNA + Senju DNA + Near Death Experience. We know that Sasuke does not have Senju DNA so it just isn't possible for him unless there is a twist and there is an alternative way to unlocking it.

This is my idea of how to unlock Elder Son's eyes.

Elder Son's eyes = EMS + Uchiha DNA + Near Death Experience. Sasuke is a full blooded Uchiha which stems directly from the Elder Son. The Elder Son had no mixing of blood types in order to possess his eyes. So naturally I would think Sasuke would be able to attain the new set of eyes since he hasn't mixed his DNA.

Madara even states that he wants to nurture a new eye, though not sure if he could use them. This is because (in my opinion) he is no longer a pure Uchiha, he is also partial Senju thanks to Hashirama's DNA.

It makes perfect sense thanks to the last chapter.

You people are ridiculous minded. Just because the elder son had very strong eyes; compared to the extreme life force and will of the younger son; those eyes barely make the quota. Hashirama was always stronger than Madara until Madara stole and obtained alot of extra power!

I think people are taking everything too literal here. It was obviously a myth that the SO6P created EVERYTHING, all he did was make the moon and separate the Juubi into nine parts is how I see it. But I think the legacy of the Ninja was accredited to him and thus the shinobi recognize him as a God who created everything, when in reality war was occuring even before his mother ate from the tree to obtain divine power! According to Madara- who read the stone tablets with the Rinnegan; the Sage gained inherited his power from his mother who inherited that power from a tree. In essence; he was never a god who could create anything without the power of the juubi! The point of gaining Senju dna, is not to just get a blood transfusion; it is MURDER- drinking the blood of your most despised enemy- the SENJU! That is how Rinnegan is won, but before that you must experience trauma (sharingan) and extreme loss (mangekyou), then as you become blind you must find the light to your darkness (STEALING YOUR BROTHER'S EYES)!

The New eyes definitely exist as Madara stated; who knows all there is about the Uchiha, Senju, and the SO6P.

Well, show me manga scans or it never happened. The manga clearly says that Rinnegan was originally Sages' eyes, unless you prove it wrong it's just a nice fanfiction mate.
