Kisame, Samehada, and Mizu Bushin.
In Conclusion:
An interesting fact has been brought up and explored in a fairly recent group; the question was whether or not a Mizu Bunshin Clone could wield Samehada and that if the copy of Samehada could absorb and steal chakra from any enemy. The purpose of this thread is to try and prove that claim to any who care to read it.
The first way we had decided to go about both searching for the answer and proving this was to get the DataBook page for the Mizu Bunshin jutsu. Below, you will see said page with an interesting statement that will be in a blue rectangle.
"The body borne of water completely endowed with the user's abilities!"This is the first piece of evidence that leads us to the conclusion that a Samehada copy can and will absorb chakra.
Another piece to note is that, Pein produced a copy or clone of Samehada through Kisame's very own chakra.
This copy was shown to have several qualities that Samehada itself had. Such as only listening and being held by Kisame [
Some might claim that Samehada can not be copied, and if it did then during the battle with Team Gai there would have been Mizu Bunshin wielding Samehada there. Zabuza has shown back in part one that a weapon with unique qualities can and will be copied along with the Mizu Bushin [
While I believe this is proof enough that Samehada can be copied and it will be capable of absorbing chakra, much like the original. It will be to a lesser extent. Only 1/10th[
Another interesting topic to ponder over is the "
Draw Backs:
One draw back is the fact that Mizu Bunshin can not get too far away from the original. While this may be a drawback to the jutsu; the difference and gap between the original and clones is not so small as some believe [

]. 1/10th of that isn't TOO bad! Especially when this 1/10 is added up by the number of Mizu Bunshins created

" form; the fusion of both Kisame and Samehada. Mizu Bunshin themselves could be capable of performing this transformation as, they would have the same abilities as the originals and this fusion does not seem to even require significant amounts of chakra to be used. Draw Backs:

]. The previous link shows Neji defeating the Mizu Bunshin, off panel of course. And in the bottom panel you can see the difference there was between Kisame and where his clones previously were.In Conclusion:
- Kisame's Mizu Bunshin Clones are capable of wielding Samehada.
- The Samehada copies will be able to absorb chakra, though only 1/10th that of the original.
- The distance between the Mizu Bunshin and Original is greater then believed to be.
- Mizu Bunshin clones of Kisame and Samehada should be capable of fusing together to form the "Kisamehada" form.
