Saobody- slave trade, tenryuubito, and epic mugiwara moments
Impel down great prison
The war of the best- some of the strongest pirates vs strongest marines
Fishman Island-,racism
Do flamingo arc- black market

That about sums it up with as few spoilers as possible

Many Mangas borrow from each other. Similar character archetypes and arc structures is nearly expected in Shounen manga. Arcs about training, and some form of tournament, gauntlet, or test are a given in this genre. As are evil organizations with members that would be later named.

Even the themes are the same at certain points. Not giving up no matter what, the power of friendship etc. I'm positive HxH and Naruto developed their own styles and taste to make the unique.

it will take me too long to explain it with scans/details (did it many times before) but, to sum it all up without details :

- technicalities are a thing of the past.
- contradictions to some of the already established facts.
- Bizarre moves/powers that doesn't make any sense.
- seems way way too rushed, trying to wrap the whole thing up (repeated powers everywhere).
- dump speeches.

You can argue the hisoka thing but kurapika is plagiarized, how many characters have red eyes when they're emotional, had their clan wiped out, is an avenger by nature? Please list them..

plus reputation for you. many shounen mangas borrow characters type and plot lines from others.

I never said Togashi made them first. I'm saying that Kishi pretty much copied Togashi's characters and story to an extent. If I can list 10 things off of the top of my head that are the same or very similar between the two series, then that doesn't make Naruto look very good, especially when HxH does everything so much better.

P.S. - It's funny how when Togashi goes on hiatus, Naruto's quality drops immensely. Coincidence? I think not.

If I can list 10 things off of the top of my head that are the same or very similar between the two series, then that doesn't make Naruto look very good, especially when HxH does everything so much better.

how kishi can copy characters if togashi not created these characters type first?
some storylines which kishi copy normal for battle oriented shounen
i can agree that kishi copy some elements of chuunin exam and emo eyes ( not eyes conception ).. so you can blame kishi only for using same characters types and storyline like togashi ( and these characters as i said not unique for HXH)
