The chakra cloak work as a shield

But it never said that ,the chakra cloak is like the base chakra

The reason shikamaru survived (unlike the other shinobi from god tree)is because naruto controlled his chakra and transfer it INSIDE shikamaru

I understand what is being implied, but when Kakashi couldn't use kamui...

He used raikiri instead.

Ms techniques depletes stamina/physical energy to the point that their mobility is shaken up as well.

Kakashi was given quite a bit of chakra through kurama, but the yellow-thing is more physical energy than regular chakra.

Look at all the battles Kakashi couldn't use kamui, he used raikiri and Doton...
