• Survived getting hit/stabbed
• Survived the sealing process with Shiki Fujin

Here is more evidence -- the shurikens Hiruzen created with his chakra did not immediately disappear. Instead, they got cut in half as if they were real shuriken:

This proves that Hiruzen can make clones that are virtually as strong as the original.

Pretty sure that's the point. Hiruzen's shadow clones are nearly, if not as strong as clones powered by Kurama.

But he's a kage, he's gonna be ridiculously strong in one way or another.

Nothing's OP about them, if he uses them without edo status his chakra is pretty much gone. Not to mention Nardo's KCM clones have way more durability and can 1 shot ppl.
