It's after Obito and Rin's death. Seems like it will follow from Rin's death to around the age Kakashi was when the Nine Tails attacked.

That is some nice animation. But we all know they are going to ruin it with a really dumb villain like they always do.

Knowing Pierrot's history with fillers, I have to keep low expectations, but hopefully it will surprise me.

In the staff list for the first ANBU episode, it is just one of Naruto's regular writers, no one new or noteworthy.

Shinichi Suzuki, the legend that lead the animation for the famous movie Akira, is part of the animation team and Yasuhiko Kanezuka who has directed a lot of the Shippuden movies' animation is also on the team too.

This could go quite well.

This looks epic. A whole filler arc dedicated to one of the best characters in the series, and my personal favorite character? Can't miss this.

349 will have average animation, nothing special. Kanezuka's only job for the episode is to help correct off model drawings of the less skilled animators.

The quality for 349 should be similar to episode 341, because it is basically the same team.
