Hey guys anyone know a program that can really help you learn Japanese? I know of only Rosetta Stone, but I used it back in high school and it didn't really help me plus it's really expensive haha so any advice?

I can learn it, I just have go to my College over here and apply for A Japanese course. But I'm already doing A course so... can't really do both now. Seeing as this course's difficulty is high.

I would like to take a class at my college, but it doesn't have Japanese as a course! I don't really understand why lol
That sucks, seems like you're in the same case as me.. So don't worry to much as you're not going to be going anywhere any time soon. (you should know what I mean by that) and focus on your current course. You can always learn Japanese some other time. Or if it's A must.. look out for your next break from college & you can do what that other person suggested and take A language study trip to japan. Or even find some other place in your area that can teach you Japanese.

Rossetta Stone is useless.

Use the internet, most notably japanese.about.com and buy a grammar guide and dictionary (For a grammar guide, Barrons Japanese Grammar is good and for a dictionary; Collins, Oxford or Berlitz).

Well I went private catholic schools since I was young and now I'm in a community college (not sure if you know what that means) but I feel that I'm more mentally skilled for these classes because of my past lol
