Kishimoto already took Yamato and used him to power up the Zetsu army, so in this case, Spiral Zetsu took the powerhouse for himself, was like oh hell yeah, went to fight the shinobi alliance and to find out about stool.

Why is this logical?

Orchimaru was like "this enemy.." hinting he knew who he was, and who else would he know more then his own personal mokuton creation, Yamato?
