About time. A better Sasuke is born just before death. Still not gonna be kage though. This is why.
1st kage------>Madara
2nd kage------> Not sure who rivaled Tobirama at that time.. So.. Yeah.
3rd Kage -----> Danzo
4th kage>----->Orochimaru
5th kage------->Whoever she had a rival with that wanted to be kage.
6th kage--------> Sasuke
^-----------------------------All of them have taken the dark side because they could not be a kage.
Since 5th kage does not have a rival, this pattern does not work at all.It also didn't work for tobirama.
Actually hashirama wanted madara to the hokage, so if you follow this logic, if naruto really parallels hashirama, then he would also believe in sasuke and his skills and himself vote for sasuke to be the hokage.
In fact, all this problem started because hashirama failed to create a perfect village he once wished for, madara have given up on this idea of village and he have his own way of peace.
If sasuke can convince madara that he can create that "dream village" hashirama once wanted, then everything can be solved and sasuke is the best person to do it because he resembles izuna, madara's beloved brother.

It is not that things don't go my way so i call it plot no jutsu, it is that manga contradict itself which is why it is plot no jutsu.
In fight against danzo, sasuke was bind by danzo's binding jutsu and there was no way he could move a finger, but still he could summon a susano and save himself. Comparing to that, sasuke have increased tremendously in using susano and he was in better situation as compared to that time, still he survived that using susano but could not survive against madara's sword stab?
That being said, an inexperienced MS sasuke escape much more dangerous yet similar situation but a better experienced EMS Sasuske couldn't.
This is plot no jutsu.
