Where does it say "There's only three places you can learn Sage Mode?"

Why would there be a 4th location to learn that is less famous than the other three? Unless there is some secret sage mode, but that's fanfiction at this point.

I reiterate. Hashi's Sage Mode is Slug Sage Mode until proven otherwise.

Correction speculation not mangaphax

Please. There's more proof for it than against it. Let alone the fact that no such 4th Sage Mode location exists as of yet.

Doesn't take a genius to put that puzzle together.

That doesn't prove Hashi's is Slug Sage Mode. All that says is that the Forest place is as equally famous as the Frog Mountain and Snake Cave to learn Sage Mode. The fact that they are called famous implies there's other places to learn Sage Mode. If there weren't, why are they called famous? There have to be other places to compare their notoriety to in order to be able to say they are famous. That means it's possible Hashi learned his Sage Mode from one of those less famous places.

As I said, I doubt there would be any lesser place to learn Sage Mode that would be less famous than these 3. Until proven otherwise, there are 3 locations to learn Sage Mode.

It's not like there are lower forms of Sage Mode, which is why Oro replicated it within Curse Marks rather than just finding a less taxing sage mode.

You have no proof.

So for now, it's just Sage Mode until, and if something is said about it.

Besides, why couldn't there be another place? It's like saying there's only four famous supermarkets in the UK and saying that's reason enough for there to be no more, which it isn't, because there are more.

Right. Equally famous enough that Itachi was instantly able to recognize that Kabuto had mastered sage mode just by visiting this location.

Do you seriously think there would be 3 equally famous locations, 2 of which provide Sage Mode and the third of which does not? That's a ridiculous idea.
there is nothing in the manga that remotely notes of slug sage mode. ryuchi cave shown the white snake sage mt myouboku shown the great toad sage, who teaches slug sage mode ? katsuyu is the only inhabitant of sikkotsu forest, if she is the one that teaches sage mode she would have to have a connection to hashirama which she doesnt.

The theme of the Sannin is incomplete Sage Mode. Oro didn't have the body, Jiraiya relied on Fukasaku and Shima, and Tsunade probably fakes hers with the Byokugu.

the 3 areas are famous
we got that settled

3 areas host 3 different creatures
toad, snake, slug
we got that settled

they all teach sage modes
toad sage mode, dragon sage mode, wood/god sage mode
we got that settled

therefore just because a land has a title doesn't mean the sage mode has anything to do with it
snake summoning has nothing to do with dragons sage as slugs have nothing to do with wood/god sage
we got that settled

its not that hard mang.

I have to agree, you can't discount one idea because it's never been stated and then say another one is correct when it hasn't been stated either.

I knew this thread would do this but I advise just to go with what is certain; it's Sage Mode. Besides, where it derives from is neither here nor there, what's important is it's advantages/features.

You're jumping to conclusions. First off, when Naruto was learning Sage Mode, it was said Sage Mode is a hard ability to learn. Not Frog Sage Mode, Sage Mode, meaning there is no "less taxing" Sage Mode. Learning Sage Mode PERIOD is taxing.

Can you provide proof of there being ONLY three? No you cannot. I can't provide proof that there's more than 3, cuz proof to either side doesn't exist. We have to rely on analyzing what characters have said in order to come to a conclusions. Oro said that the Slug forest is as famous as the Toad Mountain, and the Snake Cave. "As famous" implies that there are other places that are far less known. After all, wouldn't you agree saying "These three soda brands are the most famous" or "These three ninja are the most famous ninja" mean there's other soda brands and ninja in the world to compare them to? So why is this phrasing any different?

When I saw Hermit Law, I knew that it had nothing to do with sage slug.

Had to be the sage's sagemode...

Kabuto did call him hermit sage

There are only three places it can be learned though, its a secret jutsu, it can't be copied.

Are you capable of being able to read anything that doesn't revolve around the gravitational pull of Sakura's forehead? I clearly explained why there could be more than 3.
