[Suggestion] Ideas to help Narutobase

I have a lot in mind. What Narutobase needs is

- Notifications if somebody has quoted your comment.

- Notifications if somebody has posted on your thread.

- When you take rep from somebody (Negative Rep) they will know its you and will Negative Rep you back. They should fix it so nobody knows who Negative Repped you. (Fixed it, looked confusing to read)

- Narutobase should become an app for Android & Apple.

I dunno if the app is a bit too much or even possible but I'd be cool & easier to use imo.


Is this asking for too much? Just some ideas I suppose..

As long as there's an option to turn them off because the most active users will find them more of a bane but yes, this was something that occurred to me a while ago.

Yes! I was just thinking this, wtf!! Lol notifying me when being quoted would be great, I'm not willing to keep re-checking each of my post to see if someone replies.

Indeed, I'm a member of other forum (s) which have this option, getting notified when someone quotes you and such, it's actually pretty handy since I go there once in a while and it's easier to know. Moreover that's actually something which I would like if NB does decide to add that feature.

1) Notifications if somebody has quoted your comment, huh, I would say that you can go to the thread and check it manually. It is not that hard, is it? Though in a way I like your suggestion.

2) For notifications if somebody has posted on your thread, you already get that by subscribing to a thread.

3) With 'rep taking' I guess you refer to negative rep? If so, then you just go to an admin and talk with him/her about it if someone is abusing the neg rep.

4) App has been suggested so many times mate ... I honestly don't see where is the problem with just viewing it on your phone normal. I personally have no problems with it. Making an app will cost time, effort and of course money and in my opinion the staff members are doing more than enough work for now and they have far more important jobs to do than creating an app.

1) I have seen this feature elsewhere. It's great. But they don't want it here. Dunno why.

4) Answer has always been no for an app on this board. Other boards though, have their own.

The only good idea I see is the quote notification.
But as stated countless times before ''base too large to embed such option"
The base needs better regular and stuff members to be improved

1) Has been suggested before several times, till now never implemented because of the practical problems it could cause, but it's Zise who decides whether stuff like this is added or not.

2) Already exists. If you subscribe to a thread, every time someone posts in that thread, you will get a notification.

3) Bad idea, I see it easily happen that people intentionally start -repping a person massively. I don't think it would feel good if you suddenly get 10 -rep comments and you have no idea who was behind it. Simply to easy to abuse.

4) Has been suggested before, problem is someone needs to make that app.

In my own opinion. The problem with the app idea isn't really that no one on the base that knows how to write it doesn't want to do it. It's that keeping it up to date, making it for multiple phone OS's etc and updating it with the phone OS's would become time consuming and a real pain.

Tho, don't take disagreements wrongly, I'm sure the admins of this site enjoy any feed back/ideas in making user experience better.
