When Nagato was Edo'd, he needed more chakra to actually use the paths. The Rinnegan takes an exremely large amount of chakra, so Nagato needed to absorb ninjutsu to regain most of his chakra.

Madara couldn't do this, and the Mazou gave him very little chakra. So if he was to get his hands on any chakra, he would be the same Madara that tanked Amaterasu upon reawakening

The manga says madara died in old age though, after he gained hashirama's cells and implanted his eyes into nagato. IF he died that day, there would have never even been an akatsuki because nagato and obito would have both died as children.

Let's be serious here. If Madara died at VotE how did he even make it to the cave? How did he make it to old age?

Madara reached the end of his natural life and used the Mazo to extend his life by sucking in chakra from Hashirama's clone. Giving him a bunch of chakra isn't going to make him younger nor is it the same thing as Nagato's situation.
