Those are consecutive pages.

In the first page Madara’s arm is clean, in the second page it has a “line” and in the third one it is clean again.

I first thought that it was a SM marking, but since it suddenly disappeared I thought it was an error and ignored it until now.

I came to the conclusion that it mostly resembles a cut. It is also on Madara’s right hand which he lost after this incident.

It might be probable that it was originally intended that Sasuke had to cut the hand, but for some reason it was changed. Naurto’s and Sai’s faces look a bit shocked, and Hashirama goes as far as saying that Madara would regret coming back to his flesh body, further showing that Sasuke did considerable damage to him.

It looks like the main idea was still kept, since Madara’s right hand was still wounded in a way in the third page.

(What I try to say is that they intended to remake the second page, but kept the original one by mistake)

If I am not mistaking, a chapter is made by a team, not only by one person (Kishi). There might have been a lack of communication or they simply mixed up the pages.

It could also show that Kishi intended for Madara to lose a hand, and it was not something that he spontaneously thought when he made Madara confront the beasts.

(If so, was it something not very important or did Kishi intended that Madara should gain something by having a Zetsu hand?)

It could also be that it was just a drawing mistake and the hand was not intended to be cut at all in this encounter. (A random drawing mistake)

If this chapter already had its volume appearance, it would be nice if we could get the page to compare them.

What are your thoughts on this?

(Sorry if someone already noticed and made a similar thread, I do not come very often here)

If you have watched 2nd or 3rd last episode of naruto you shouldn't be asking such question, why ? If you go to previous 2nd or 3rd episode you'll find that obito hand was bruised by naruto's rasengan and it suddenly healed automatically, why cuz obito have hashirama's cell which automatically healed obito, so the same thing happened to madara cuz he also have hashi's cells implanted in him, you get it :hint:

Are you trying to suggest that Madara's hand was cut and he reattached it off panel?

I don't see it

The second page from my post.

I don't see any line, and this is before he lost his arm to the Bijuu right?

It is before the encounter with the Bijuu and about the panel, it is the one from the second page; on the half of the page.

Those three are consecutive pages. Did he attached it of panel? Since in the third his body had no scar.

Since some can't notice, here is the page with the panel emphasized. Isn't that a cut?
