Something that ticks me off about Naruto as a series.

I've recently got into Attack on Titan, and after watching the first 9 episodes, I can safely say that I've enjoyed this anime much more than I've enjoyed Naruto recently for 1 sole reasons, along with multiple smaller ones.

That reason would be the characters; 9 episodes into the anime, I can name list off major characters on one hand. That's impossible with Naruto; I've thought about this previously, and I've always noted that Kishimoto seems to introduce way more characters than necessary. He has so many characters that can/could have been developed much better (Haku and Zabuza, Sound 4, Akatsuki, Konoha 11, among others), yet he keeps bringing in more and more and more.

I get that Naruto is supposed to be a more 'fun' anime than Attack on Titan, but even Naruto's emotional moments pale in comparison to Attack on Titan's simply because AoT's characters are way more developed and emotionally believable. Already Armin, Mikasa, and Eren have displayed much more consistency in personality than Naruto's characters, mainly because there are just those three to develop.

Do you find yourself agreeing with me to some extent at least?

Although they are too different in their essence to be compared, I agree to some extent, sometimes Naruto lacks depth. The thing that striked me at first was the contrast b/w the quality of the art.

Theres more than three character that get development and I still dont see why people seems to think that it gets boring or that it ``steal`` from other animes ...

There is no such thing as stealing from other animes. What youre refering to are TV tropes and every cartoon, anime, movie, and show use them.

very sad that you cant see character development.
Bold are laughable in my opinion. And great. 3 viable characters, of over 30 in total.
its only my opinion.
in reality kishi developed more characters than i post

I haven't seen AOT and is it's shounen, I would steer clear of it myself. I find Naruto beyond unbearable, another one from the same Genre would drive me mad. Naruto's plot is far too inconsistent, annoying, and largely filled to the brim with haphazardly put together story plot-points that are ridiculous and laughable to say the least. Naruto, the main character, is probably one of the most annoying, depth-less, pile of rocks that I ever laid my eyes on. His mantra and panacea for world-war is rubbish at its finest. The fact that this character carries forward the main plot of idealism ... is just deplorable.

I see no absolution from the garbage-esque parallelisms, Friend-ship beats all, love bunnies and rainbows that have killed all of Naruto's cells and left his scull an empty husk where sounds bounce off in cadence from this point on wards - Or Naruto in general as it lies under the scum collected on top of the corrugated cesspool of general accidental-writer stupidity. It's far too consistent, I tell ya. It's a lose lose situation in terms of redemption for Kishimoto and his poor and largely ****-y intellect that doesn't give him the prerogative to spit at a guppy and call himself perched at top of a food chain.

I hope this was enough thrashing to give you a general idea about the not-so-subtle nuances that have made this manga a harrowing ordeal to lumber through. And hilariously, this is just the tip of the ice-berg.

aot having more developed char. and emotions than naruto?you're probably high brah!..
Animation and ost are the only thing that makes it over-rated,all other things reeks of plagerism, tbh, except the titans.

Can't really say one anime is better then the other anime for someone else. In your eyes.. Naruto is not better but for someone else, it could be the best thing in the world. No point in saying which is better.
