At Bold, scan please? And I am not saying she is stronger than hiruzen but her sound genjutsu is a match decider here. You try to give a petty excuse in regards as to why shikamaru didn't bite his lip but you twisted the scan to fabricate the manga.

She clearly saids he broke his finger and used that pain to break it and then pretended to still be paralyzed? Ok.

Final level of curse mark sound gen can be rendered by simply biting your lip? im not going to dismiss that statement but if you can show me the scan then ill gladly accept the fact. this level of Sound gen ideally should be broken so easily; i fit were normal sound gen with no senjutsu enhancements then i could understand

Tongue is more discreet and he could easily purse his lips close, Tayuya isn't that intelligent to figure what he's doing as her personality with rage and arrogance doesn't help the situation. I won't deny that the biting lip method wouldnt work because it probably does but I do not agree with the reasons shikamaru didnt use it.

You said that she can see him biting his lip which isnt true due to the direction his head was facing which was downward. Again the blood could mean anything if she did it that doesnt mean shikamaru was biting his lip.

Putting kage level shinobi up to children is pretty sad. Even though i'm not a hiruzen fan. I guess feats are to blame for this. In the real(anime) situation of this, never in a million years. Not even Hiruzens manga feats suggest she could win, infact I think they suggest the complete opposite.

That is a beat down in Hiruzens favor. Low-mid diff. But im pretty adamant about low diff.
