I disagree. Sometimes, a way to make people stop is ignoring them. But sometimes, a way(and a funnier way) to make them stop is making jokes of them, mocking their behavior, using a bit of irony, I'd say so. You can still show how pathetic their behavior are and still manage to have some fun witht he jokes.

Not everytime. You have to learn how to tell the difference between people that hate a char and people that are just making jokes of the idiots. As I said, it is a classic way to critcize a behavior and show how pathetic it is. Those comedy shows have been doing it for quite some time.
Some people just have to learn not to take everything seriously.

I'm not saying don't make jokes. I'm saying when you make jokes like these to poke fun at something people enjoy in hopes of irritating them and mocking them, you're just as bad as when they stupidly overrate characters to annoy you.
