Sakura will probably get to him and heal him. He should be out for a little while though. He and Naruto will probably come back together with new powerups.

I think Kishi is trying to take them both out of the fight temporarily to prepare them for upgrades. Either that or he just took out Sasuke this chapter because he secretly reads Narutobase threads and knew the fanboyism would be too great if he weakened Naruto for a bit and left Sasuke unharmed

Plausible, since he didnt activate susano to block the sword, that might not be the real sasuke. Looking at the black substance coming out after the pierce, I think is Sai Clones. It isnt a wood clone, becos Madara has the eye to differentiate between wood clones of hashirama but has a hard time differentiating between sahdow clones. He hasnt been shown seeing an ink clone too before.
Thus it might be Sai ink clone to give sasuke an opening to attack or let his guard down.

Not sure how it'll play out, but I like the theory that this is just a plot device for Sasuke to obtain the Rinnegan. I've never been a big fan of Sasuke getting the Rinnegan, but given Hashirama hinting at possible TNJ, I don't see Madara listening to Sasuke if he isn't incredibly strong in his own right. Rushing in so densely doesn't exactly leave Sasuke looking of a form of greater enlightenment that Madara will listen to. Power is what Madara will listen to.
