FTG are the same. They are instant. The difference between Minato and Tobirama is how quickly or efficiently they can utilize FTG. This chapter proves that Minato is superior! Why? If someone asked why at this point then probably they lack the ability to understand every panel shown when Tobirama started using FTG.
Tobirama's FTG until this point does not have radius or perhaps a radius wider than that of Minato. Of all the battles shown, Tobirama can teleport to where his FTG mark is. If the mark is at the back, he can only teleport there. He marked Jubiito at the back..Guess what?? All of his attack comes at the back of Jubiito because that is where the mark is.
Let's applaud Madara for defeating an FTG user but Tobirama did not use FTG as a means to attack like what Minato did to Obito. Not to mention Tobirama speed is inferior to that of Minato. He uses FTG to close the gap between them. Having SM, Madara can sense an attack coming. This is where Tobirama failed. Well, I don't really consider it as a failure because Madara borrowed Hashi's SM. Without it, he will die at the hands of Tobirama. Lastly, if Tobirama was able to mark Madara, then GG Maddy!
