I don't think it was Madara that froze Sasuke. I actually think it had something to do with what Hashirama gave Sasuke. Madara said "I gave you ample time to do something" so that made me think that he knew Sasuke was coming in for the strike, but he wasn't going to react until he was closer. We all know Madara likes to toy around with his opponents, and that he also wants to see what Sasuke is made of, so he was going to test his abilities by giving him a small opening.

I feel like what Hashirama gave to Sasuke responds to a dangerous situation...we can assume that it isn't an offensive technique because Hashirama said "You may be able to stop Madara without using force". Also now is the time that Naruto and Sasuke are going to become stronger after a near-death experience.

Doesn´t anyonone actually believe it could be a classic sub jutsu? I mean, I know we ain´t gatting the pin pal´s top spot shot (stroke) AT First sight, at least give him the probability of planning his ways long ahead of his opponent, we did see Sasuke´s EMS on detail, meaning it might be at the current moment being used to do its stuff.

genjutsu is possible, yeah, I´m saying Sasuke used Tsukoyomi. I would like to say Izanagi or Izanami, however Sasuke losing an eye on a 1st strike sounds out of context :=)

That is the Real Sasuke or a clone by Sai sines He was their listening to Sasuke if it;s a clone it was to distracted Madara who was able to spot Sasuke easily. Otherwise Sasuke is just a sitting Duck for Madara. Next episode should show if it was the Real Sasuke or a clone.
