Why didn't Sasuke just use Susano'o to block Madara?

Why didn't Sasuke just use Susano'o before Madara stabbed him? He obviously could of (and would have if it was any other character). Is this plot-no-jutsu?

B). Madara prevented him somehow with genjutsu or something (somewhat likely)
C). Part of a plan (not very likely)

Your point would have been vaild if that in fact is Sasuke that got stabbed. But its not, so. If it was Sasuke Susanoo would activate just like it did with Danzo.

It was most likely due to whatever Madara was using to keep him paralyzed. Susano'o has a basically instantaneous activation, so I doubt it was a speed-related thing.

It was most likely due to whatever Madara was using to keep him paralyzed. Susano'o has a basically instantaneous activation, so I doubt it was a speed-related thing.

I don't think madara had him paralyzed, because at the end of the chapter he said "I gave u more than ample time to do something" which means that madara didn't know he was paralyze

Other than that, well we all know he doesn't just rush an opponent without any plan (like Naruto). So I'm sure there is some trick to getting out of this alive and binding Madara in some fashion thanks to Hashirama.

Maybe it wasn't paralization, but he clearly did SOMETHING to him, as Sasuke said "What the hell is this?!" as his body was shaking. Maybe Bansho Tenin? Some sort of chakra disruption? Either way, that was most likely what prevented him from using it.

In fact, you can clearly see him floating, so it was most likely Bansho Tenin then.
