FTG wasn't even defeated though... Unless you're going to say he defeated it off-panel. If anything, you should say he defeated a FTG user, not FTG itself.

I know, Jus saiyan ppl are acting like anyone can do what Maddy did. If maddy didn't have sage mode he'd be dead, as he let hashirama sneak up behind him and impale him when the last fought, and yet he did not react then, compared to Tobirama sneaking up on him with ftg. It's obvious that it was his SM that allowed him to do so and ppl act like their fave can pull the exact same stunt.

Maddy is the end game villain and it's obvious SM grants sensory and perception skills beyond that which he had in life. Otherwise Maddy wouldn't have been stabbed by a wood clone.

Considering the fact that he was holding his 'short sword' at a very precise angle and forced Minato into a retreat - yeah, that was definitely reaction.
