"I originally thought of this assumption back in 2012-2013 but never actually posted it in it's correct topic group. This is my opinion of who the unknown genin in the image below with Jiraiya & Minato actually are based on the info given by the manga & Narutopedia. I apologize for the images' sizes in advance."

I know the first thing that comes to your mind when looking at the Team Jiraiya photo is "that's a female, every genin team has at least 1 female". Let's not forget the original Ino-Shika-Cho trio were all male, the actual system is every genin team has a medical-nin Inoichi was I-S-C's most likely. And some may think his hairstyle is too girly, but it's quite masculine in Japanese culture. It resembles chonmage, a hairstyle that was worn by most samurai & some sumo wrestlers, just without the gigantic baldspot & bangs added to the front. He does look quite feminine in the face but so was Haku & even he was mistaken to be a girl by another girl *cough*Sakura*cough*. The Uchiha frontrunners; Sasuke, Itachi, Fugaku, Izuna, and even Madara have/had long bangs on the front of their faces.
Also their appearance in attire is incredibly similar like some of the genin from Naruto's grad year, they tend to keep something from their academy outfit when they grow up; Naruto kept his trademark orange scheme with the red spiral, Shikamaru kept his fishnet undershirt, Miato Guy kept his trademark green jumpsuit, Kakashi kept his trademark half-mask with dark blue scheme etc. Now look at the collar of Fugaku, light blue with black dots just like the unknown genin. Big loose collars seem to be an Uchiha & Aburame thing. That's obviously not an Aburame.
Mikoto, Fugaku's wife was a jounin when she died meaning she did attend the Academy. She was also a close friend to Kushina, Minato's wife, so Mikoto most likely attended the Academy with both Minato & Kushina. Which would also mean Fugaku was probably there too. All the more reason Fugaku could've been a part of Team Jiraiya.
Next up the tight-eyed one at the end....
TEUCHI ICHIRAKU

Most of you will think I'm trolling at this point but it's actually quite possible that the joyful ramen shop owner was once a ninja. He seems to be in the know about everything happening with Naruto, I believe his role as just moral support is no where near how deep his character really goes. Plus the ages match, speaking on the behalf of Minato Namikaze & Fugaku Uchiha they both would be in their mid 40s by now. Fugaku died at age 40, The Uchiha Massacre. I believe Minato was the youngest out of Team Jiraiya. Teuchi is 47 at the moment. I added Ichiraku to his name because I wanted to, not because I think that's his actual last name. Don't try to flame the obvious please.
Even though it's a very blunt point it's still very plausible; The tight-eyed one & Teuchi have this specific facial expression(their eyes always seem closed),The same can be said about the Akamichi clan though they have tight eyes because they're FA.... I mean chubby lol. There isn't really alot of info about him other than he runs Ichiraku Ramen with the help of his daughter. The only thing really outstanding about him is that hes seen Kakashi maskless, his daughter also witnessed this. This probably happened when Minato was still alive. My theory; Minato was training Kakashi with Teuchi spectating(or participating) & his daughter just so happened to be there. Kakashi's mask was cut open by one of Minato's kunai. Or...Teuchi & Ayame just saw his full face while he was eating ramen... lol
Teuchi's name can mean "made by hand" or "homemade" (手打ち). However, the same word can also mean "killing someone with one's bare hands." Which is like seeing an unarmed man and considering him harmless, not knowing he's a skilled assassin. Exacty what most people that read/watch NARUTO think of Teuchi, even calling him a fodder.
Ichiraku roughly translates to "one's relief" (一楽). Which is exactly what Teuchi is to Naruto because of the ramen, his favorite food, he recieves(sometimes on the house) and advice he gives him. Or should I say Teuchi is Minato's relief for Naruto because he might have told Minato he would watch over Naruto if anything ever happened to him.
