Tobirama was faster than the Third Raikage.

Madara's musings that Tobirama was the fastest Shinobi of his era affirms that he was faster than even the third Raikage. How do I know this? The third Raikage was alive during Tobirama's era, most likely taking over after - believe - Kin and Gin killed the Second Raikage. Yes, Tsunade does state that Tobirama was left on the verge of death after Kinkaku & Ginkaku's attempted coup, but obviously he didn't die:

However, does the manga even expand on what happened to the Nidaime Raikage? No, so it's left to assumptions/theories. What I believe is that Kinkaku & Ginkaku killed the Nidaime Raikage (more likely them than anybody else; I mean they must have been opposed to his ways as they attempted a coup).

How did I determine this?

Well, first off, the Nidaime Mizukage and Nidaime Tsuchikage recognized the Sandaime Raikage as ... well, the Sandaime Raikage (as they called the Yondaime Kazekage the "new guy" and the Nidaime Mizukage says he doesn't recognize him), meaning the Nidaime Raikage must have either stepped down or was killed in action:

Furthermore, both Kinkaku and Ginkaku knew of the Sandaime Raikage (meaning that the Nidaime Raikage was deceased):

Tobirama is a boss, haterz keep saying he got fodderized by Maddy but obviously Maddy's gonna steamroll anyone he comes across at this point. fact remains that Tobirama is now top 5 in speed. Long live Lawd Tobirama.

Not sure. When we saw the first Gokage summit 3rd Raikage probably wasn't even born, and Madara was long gone I believe when the Second Raikage was elected. So I assume Madara was speaking during all the fights Uciha/Senju had.

Lol? Muu and The Mizukage both recognised the third. They were both from Tobirama's time.
