Hey guys, just a quick one.

Lately im starting to think there may be more to Zoro's eye than he is letting on, [closed eye].

Instead of just a ''Kakashi'' like injury where he is unable to use it, do you reckon he is ''awakening'' a ''Hawk-Eye'' so to speak?

You know what I mean, Mihawk has insane insight with those eyes, [you could argue Haki would serve a similar purpose]

Maybe he has a way of attaining it, provided it to Zoro, and Zoro is ''training'' all throughout this period?

What do you think

I think he is "weakening" himself by closing one eye and against stronger opponents he will have a big dramatic revel in witch he opens the eye and has a flashback on how he got the scar

I won't lie. I think there's more than what meets the eye with Zoro.. Literally.. Lmao XD

My guess.. is its either something along the lines of what you just said..

OR.. I also had a theory that it might actually be one of Mihawk's eyes itself! Like how Obito gave Kakashi his sharingan.. but I think Zoro stole Mihawks eye.. or took it fair and square.. I say this since we still have yet to see Mihawk since the time skip.. and Zoro still hasn't opened his eye.. I think he's waiting for a really tough opponent.

I believe his eye is still operational and working just fine. You know who else has a scar over their eye and still has it? Silvers Rayleigh.

This at the very least shows that having a functioning eye is possible, even if a person has a scar like that.

I too think that there is more to the EYE of Zoro!!!!!!
There are many theories out, one of my own is that Zoro keeps his eye closed conserving the eye ability. In doing so he is amplifying the eye's ability to the extent when/where he uses it and the eye is finally shown, he would be able to see thing in great detail and somewhat slow motion (the mechnizim in movement) giving him the ability to see everything and find weak points with in everything in his eyesight.
Also I believe that it would also give Zoro the ability to find a weakness within a diamond (I know you know what I am talking about xD) and be able to attack/hit that point precisely and break/destroy/obliterate the diamond.

Two problems with that theory:

1) We already seen Mihawk (chapter 700, and upcoming anime episode will show him too) and he still has his two eyes
2) You can't just give someone an eye, just because it happened in Naruto doesn't mean Oda adds in something weird like that.

Mihawk's eyes are more like a trait I believe than a power, only once during the war there was a thing where there was focus on his eyes, followed by an image of cutting off Luffy's hands. I think the safer bet is that he used color of observation to track Luffy's movement and that Luffy subconsciously used CoO too in order to stop his attack and prevent his hands from being cut off.

Mihawk's eyes are probably his animal trade like all the original Shichibukai had, those were all based on animals.

Zoro having an eye transplant theories realy bore me, that is so unOnePiece if u know what I mean. I think if anything his eye has something to do with either haki, hakairyoku or a power limiting gimmick and thats that.

Its either one of Mihawks eyes or one of the baboons eyes and when he is in a corner he will activate and gain some swordsmanship recorded from Mihawk. Seeing as the baboons eyes gave them sort of recording movements and styles didn't it?

i dont know, after reading the latest chapter, maybe zoro also has a demonic persona, that he would reveal when he goes all out.

It irritates me that Oda never completely ruled out that Luffy still has some magma hidden in his X shaped scar. We just have to wait for a worthy opponent before Luffy unleashes his inner magma demon.

Instead of making the wildest assumptions, can we maybe start by just saying that he received an ordinary scar, which isn't uncommon for a swordsman. Demons. challenges, training, eye surgery.. etc.

I would say there is a 80& chance that zoro just received a cut
and 20% that there might be some power in it.

But reading this thread gives me the assumption that most people thing there HAS to be a power in his eye.

EXACTLY!!! I think its one of these! Either Mihawks eye.. or one of the Baboons eye (which I never thought of that scenario before until you mentioned it) so thanks for the insight on that one..

I bet it will definitely be one of these Theorys. Lol

There are probably flaws with these I haven't realized yet though.

No problem.. Lol

I don't see any flaws with it though.. people always say "oh you can't just transfer a new eye" but its manga/anime! Lmao I'm like "you can do ANYthing!".. lol.. if you can eat a fruit that turns your body into rubber, fire, smoke, ice, springs, magma, etc.. you can pull of an eye transfer. lol

I like the baboon eye theory though.. I never heard or thought of that before.. but you reminded me that those baboons copied Mihawks fighting style and what not, so I think it would be pretty cool if Zoro has one of those eyes and can now use it for his own benefits.. Lol

i dont think there is a power in it i think he just prefers to keep it shut, but it is functional and his swordsmanship will increase when he opens it from the simple fact that 2 eyes are better than 1.

IMO that is in line with one of the more likely possibilities for me, only I wld not say persona but more his inner fear projecting entity.
The other possibilities
A CoC and fear ptojecting combo, this cld make a strong opponent fearstruck then KO them in that moment their will is weak.
CoO to boost his observetory skill.
To do with Hakairyoku and the demonic Asura so more or less fear projection.
For Mr Outside-Then eye transplant surgery but IMO it has lyk 8% probabilty but as far as imaginary worlds is corncerned that is a lot.

I think it has somthing to do with the training he got from Hawk eye, like get pro with one and two will make you a god, it could be anything but im dead set on thinking it has to do with training from hawk eye
