-/__\- If he used Amateratsu on Jiraiya , Jiraiya would've ended up burned alive. He decided not to use it on Jiraiya and instead used it on the Toad eso****us . Everyone of those characters : Jiraiya , Kisame, Naruto, Sasuke would've died if it wasn't for Itachi.

Not baseless assumptions, there are hints in the manga to what he just , Itachi's proficiency in Body flicker and Genjutsu in comparison to Shishui's known mastery in Body flicker and Genjutsu. Itachi looking at him like an older brother.. It's not a baseless assumption to think they trained together... Considering how Itachi turned out... and he even learned his way of a ninja from directly copying shishui's..
the baseless assumptions is that Obito thought Itach izamai,, when It was stated that itachi was reading up on clan history etc from a little child... No where was the opposite stated...
Not getting into an argument for those who think Obito actually taught Itachi..

Itachi is a genjutsu expert. Fact. If sound genjutsu could beat Itachi, Oro already would have done so, so.....
Not neccesarily, we don't know that, we don't what he has, shit he has genjutsu reversal techniques as shown with kurenai...
He just saw the fastest way to get both him and Sasuke out of the situation, considering Kabuto launched attacks at both of them.
Who are you to decide which things itachi said were a lie? That's baseless assumptions on your part.
Since Itachi found out about obito when he was around 13, and they worked together to kill off the uchiha clan, then itachi joined obito's group can only mean That obito taught itachi. Why would itachi mention it in the first place? It would have no effect if he said it or not.
Looks to me like your being a little bias of your lovable itachi here.

At the core, Itachi did fail, and he needed to clean up his mess. However his contribution to the war was almost equal to the failure he made. Either way that is redundant, Itachi holds his unique swag, like him or hate him, Naruto series needed him.
