From what I could understand, it seems that the traits of the SM(like the animal it is related to) are defined by the place they first learn to gather and control natural energy. In mt myobokuzan, there are frogs, and bascially, just frogs. So, if one first learns SM there, he will get frog traits, what people call toad SM.

That happens because the natural energy in the mt is affected by the presence of those animals, or better yet, the natural energy is balanced with those animals' energy. When the shinobi learns SM, his body and chakra will get an "affinity" with that natural energy arround him that grants him those traits. So, because of that affinity of the first natural energy absorption, whenever the shinobi absorbs natural energy, no matter where he is, he will get those traits.

So, it's not that the natural energy is coming from the mt and the cave, but it is related to the first natural absorption. It would take too long for the energy to "travel", don't you think? The SM users were portrayed to be using the natural energy arround them.

This is what I concluded, I don't know if that's correct, but it seems to be like that.

Sasuke body is perfect...(No Ho Mo) he even has the eyes.
