The Rikudo Sennin mentioned that the nine Bijuu would always be together, even when they were separated, and that one day they would all become one:
This statement made by the Sage has been interpreted as being an indication that the nine Bijuu would unite to become 'good' Juubi; I'm of the belief that this isn't the case at all.
My belief stems from the statement made by the Rikudo Sennin in the next panel:
The Sage mentions that the nine Bijuu will have different forms than the ones that they ones that they currently exit in (as well as having different names). The fact that the plural of form is stated makes the idea of them becoming a 'good' Juubi unlikely. It can be deduced that this doesn't refer to their adult forms because the Sage couples the statement of them having different forms with them having different forms, and he mentions their current names in the previous page.
Now the question will be asked of where my belief in them obtaining humanoid forms stems from; while there is no definitive evidence, I believe that certain clues (and deductions) have been left behind which suggest this.
In Naruto chapter 660, a flashback is seen of Shukaku with his previous priest host:
The priest makes says that "There is no point in making a distinction between a human and a beast". While it is true that the priest meant this statement as a way of saying that only the heart of a being counts; I believe that Kishimoto might have left that statement as a means of foreshadowing future events.
We have seen that the likes of Sasuke don't consider on the same standing as regular humans:
The same theme of ignorance can be seen throughout all generations of Shinobi. The Bijuu have not been treated in a manner equivalent to how the average human would be treated. I believe that this simply isn't a fact of how powerful the Bijuu are, but also a result of there physical appearance. Most Shinobi will find it difficult to believe that beasts with such appearances exhibit the same emotions as humans. This is a natural response that can't Shinobi cannot be blamed for.
Some of these sentiments are expressed by Son Goku:
While there obviously isn't any definitive evidence to support this theory. I believe that the forms that the Sage spoke of were humanoid forms. These forms would allow the Bijuu to integrate into Shinobi society and would allow humans to actually see that the Bijuu are more than mindless beast.
