Jiraiya is stronger than Itachi

i guess u missed the part where itachi WAS A GOOD GUY AND NEVER WANTED TO KILL jiraya...he was just modest.... with no knowledge pretty much no once can defeat itachi since once youre in his genjutsu (which happened to pretty much EVERY oponent of him at least once) he will either kill or mind**** him...also he doesnt need more like a second to do so....no way in hell jiraya would win against him im sorry..

That's why Itachi had no problem with killing/incapcitating innocents...

Jiraiya needs to fight with his eyes closed, otherwise he falls to genjutsu no discussion.

Only gai has developed a fighting style that can deal with itachi's genjutsu.

Amaterasu deals with summons.

Jiraiya needs SM in order to put up a fight against Itachi, this is a fact. Base jiraiya simply does not have the speed feats nor the reaction time in order to deal with itachi, taijutsu is jiraiya's biggest disadvantage here.

If jiraiya avoids ephemeral then sharingan genjutsu can possibly be negated in time however that would most likely result in the sacrifice of a toad to Itachi's totsuka [

To be honest I don't really know about Jman's jutsus but I dont think those jutsus would bring him down easily..I believe in SM Jman should be able to sense Amaterasu coming

So? Gigantic Rasengan can end Itachi, sound-Genjutsu can end Itachi, toad-stomach trap can distract Itachi while Jiraiya uses a jutsu to kill him, Gamabunta deals with Susano'o.

1. So what if deva said it? Deva was restricted due to the location, why would deva try to use his village busting attacks in his own village? Deva would've retreated if jiraiya won.

2. It doesnt even matter if deva said that hidan with info could kill him. Jiraiya has no answer to cbt/cst.

3. Nagato played with jiraiya long enough for him to even figure it out, in a real battle scenario where pein uses all 6 paths simultaneously jiraiya wouldnt be alive long enough to get said info.

4. Itachi lied because he was protecting konoha, he didnt fight jiraiya because he was the only one standing in the way of akatsuki & naruto. Itachi would basically be handing over the strongest bijuu to the enemy, why on earth would Itachi even attempt to fight him. Itachi made the excuse to get them to leave because if Itachi did what he did to kakashi then all they had to do was take naruto & leave.

5. Asuma/kurenai/Kakashi/Gai were not protecting naruto, akatsuki gains nothing from fighting them.
