Kakuzu is a tier lower ( low-mid Kage tier ). Deidara is mid Kage.

Kakuzu is leagues above Deidara. Deidara's a bit of a one-trick pony; only notable for C3 and C4. One is easily dodged and the other has to be made before the fight.

I usually avoid tier threads since it takes alot of thinking to place these characters and yet still can be possibly wrong.

Anyway Kakuzu is definitely high tier in this list.

He might be higher on the list, but he shouldn't break into an entirely different tier. I'd venture to say; roughly the same tier.

Only the Hokage are high Kage. Hashirama, Minato, Tobirama, Hiruzen (hype), they dwarf the rest.

Kakuzu is High Kage, Deidara is either lower high Kage or Higher Mid kage.

Anyways Kakuzu is deadlier than Deidara.

1 - Yes i do.
2 - Imo the 4th Kazekage should drop next to Konan. He was defeated by someone with the exact same style while having the natural advantage, not to mention his control over the golden dust seems to be very lacking compared to Gaara's use of sand (i don't necessarily mean current Gaara).
Sasori should drop 1 tier. Not enough firepower imo.
Kakashi's kamui is extremely hax if not held back by plot. He should be higher right next to Onoki.

I dunno :/
His use of Iron Sand seemed to be a bit lackluster too, just like Gaara's dad.
But then again his unusual body has many advantages, so i guess mid-high is ok.

Kakuzu lacks Deidara's raw power. When it comes to power, he's probably second only to Nagato in Akatsuki. C4 and the suicide bombing clone are also dangerous. His ability to fly out of the range of most attacks put him higher to me.

Being a one trick pony isn't a bad thing is this Manga. All of the top tiers are pretty much that. Just look at Minato. Plus Deidara is versatile. C3's explosion is too large for most people to dodge, and neither of these need to be made before the fight, nor does that even matter.
