Can the black rods counter rasenshuriken?

The black rods has many uses and once, it was used to counter Sasuke's enton arrow. So can it counter other energy based projectiles like Rasenshuriken? What other things can it counter?

If the shuriken was hit by the rod then yes. It also depends on who throws the rod. If Madara has it, more chakra would be in the rod as compared to Obito as compared to Nagato.

They can disrupt naruto's chakra and stop him from being able to form his rasen shuriken. The rods are definitely strong, but probably can't destroy a rasen shuriken with just one rod.

He can probably stop a rasen shuriken with a rod so it will expand in a place other than its expected target. But I don't think it will stop it from doing damage and expanding like a shinra tensei does. Perhaps with enough black rods or a bigger black rod it would be possible to stop a normal sized rasen shuriken.

Rasenshuriken is made for cutting so it would cut the rods and continue to its destination then expand.

Rasenshuriken can destroy the black rods.

But if the rods are receiving chakra signals then it might absorb the Rasenshuriken since the rods are used by a Rinnegan user.
It's both ways but the latter part depends upon what the rinnegan user want to do.

Madara said that you can use the rikudou Justus through the rod.
