How is it supprising they use a female for a young age character? They always do it, in many languages. Bart Simpson, always been done by a women. Makes it easier in a long running series to have females do young male voices, cause not many guys can do a young voice, and if you got a boy to do it, chance are his voice could break during it.

Yeah this female voice actor shit is crap! I'll admit there are times that it works but sometimes you can easily tell it aint a guy's voice (kid or not) and you're left with this WTF feeling every time you hear the damn fool speak! I hated this shit in particular with Gon and Killua in HxH! was like wtf is this shit!

Sometimes it aint only the sound of the voice but also the emotion or the way the emotion of a moment is portrayed by the voice actor. It's no wonder Gon/Killua and Naruto/Sasuke have so many gay looking/sounding moments, coz these damn females can't express brother love properly.

I hate this crossgender voice acting crap! It's pathetic most of the time, if I can tell without researching that it aint a guy but a chick then it's an obvious fail.

Naruto I'll give the benefit of the doubt, I honestly did not know until I was told, but then it explain all the lame ass gay portrayal of brotherly love when I re-evaluated everything.
