Not bad for your first time but should time things better and maybe add some effects.
U also could fade things out instead of swapping scenes immediatly... :c

Now that I watch it again, I realize the beginning is actually really epic how you matched the lyrics with the images and everything XD The rest is good too but...that beginning is awesome

This was your typical music set to a battle. This is not a good amv. It was just clips to some song. There was no story or anything. If you like amvs like that, hey, good for you, but in my opinion, you need to learn some things and find your groove. It's your first, so you have nowhere to go but up. You don't need expensive software or mind blowing effects. You just need to find your groove. Watch these videos I consider good and learn. You're awesome for getting HQ so early, so you have the footage. You just need to to set it up and tell a story. Some of the videos aren't AMVs, but the message is still there.
