Naruto & shikamaru teamup

I think if shikamaru was more skilled him and naruto would make one of the strongest team. Shikamaru is a far range and naruto is a close range so i find it a good match. Shikamaru`s jutsus can boost narutos attacks or make it easyer for him to attack. Like a speedy opponent shikamaru can use his shadow style to catch him and let naruto get some good hits with naruto`s jutsus it can also help naruto go to sage mode shikamaru can keep the opponent far and stuck in his shadow style when naruto charges his sage mode. Maybe shikamaru can help naruto in other tactics then just charging in. What do you think about this team?

Sure it would be a good team but BM naruto already has increased speed and is as fast as the Raikage no reason for shikimaru to really 'stick' the enemy when hes faster than the enemy
and naruto can already gather nature chakra faster in BM

I don't think Naruto needs Shikamaru for anything except thinking of a flawless strategy.

Obito and Kakashi team wins with ease. Kamui snipe shikamaru, then finish off Naruto.

Plus imagine the size of the shadows for shikamaru to manipulate when Gamabunta is summoned.
