Take away Madara's upgrades, his eyes, senju dna, and kkg he would still be a formidable on a 1on1 fight.
He can fight blind and evade attacks on a close quarter combat thanks to his sensing skills.
He Has an impressive taijutsu possibly par with kakashi, itachi, sasuke, and bee, his battle prowess enabled him to take out hordes of the Shinobi alliance like a whirlwind in the battlefield. He has also shown respectable amount of speed enabling him to cover large distance with single leap and even surprising Naruto and Sai knocking them back with the former on heightened sense of Senjutsu. He was able to easily evade Mei's yoton, Gaara's high speed attack, and run away from Onoki's giant Jinton jutsu. He was strong enough to break large branches of the Shinju using his gunbai and he easily cut zetsu's arms with bare hands.
Best katon user we've seen so far based on sheer variety and scale of the jutsus he produce, easily matching the alliance's combined efforts, and has even made fire almost the same size of the Juubi. He can also use chakra infused ash to blind and disrupt attackers, this ash is hot enough to harm Naruto on his mode and also the alliance ninjas that are protected by Kyuubi chakra cloak.
Has great knowledge of barrier jutsu which he taught to Obito and he can create defensive barriers through chakra flow that is strong enough to block against giant projectiles thrown by Kyuubi's tails.
He can merge his body through objects or travel underground thanks to his attack prevention jutsu, the same jutsu used by Orochimaru during part 1. He can also use it for surprise attack and infiltration.
He can absorb chakra through chakra absorption jutsu, similar to the jutsu used by Yoroi, Jirobo, Kisame, and Orochimaru. His feat on it was the best we've seen so far as he was able to absorb Hashirama's huge chakra pool in mere seconds and also he has shown to absorb chakra with other parts of his body.
Naturally born with large chakra pool even among the Uchiha clan, he can fight on an all out battle for a straight day without rest against someone like Hashirama. His chakra prowess enables him to easily control and balance sage chakra something Naruto and even Jiraiya found hard to master.
