[Question] Hunter x Hunter 1999 vs 2011

To any of you out there who have seen he 1999 version of Hunter x Hunter-- So i recently finished Hunter x Hunter 1999 and it was a great series but it ended without showing what happened to the spiders/how they pulled off their fake deaths and without showing the final showdown between Gon and Hisuka and without showing if Gon got that game or not. Aparently they show all of this in the 2011 version, but I want to just continue where they left off in the 1999 version on the new one. So my question is, is there anything different in the episodes of Hunter x Hunter 2011 leading up to the end of the auction?(anything crucial?). Cause if so I plan on watching 2011 from the begining, but if not than i'll just resume where the left off in 1999.

You should watch the 2011 anime. Gon vs Hisoka is there aswell. Its up till chimera ant arc.

I've watched both, and I prefer the 2011 one. Less fillers, and the Chimera Ant Arc is simply amazing.

If you want to skip the story and go directly to where 1999 left off, you can start with episode 76.

OP, start from episode 54 if you don't want to rewatch everything but it's better to rewatch everything because you need time to get used to the art style, voice actors ect. Also the 2011 version doesn't have fillers and is fast paced.

The original hxh 1999 is way better IMO lol, not saying that hxh2011 sucks it's amazing but it's not in hxh1999 level of epicness.

The original : have good fillers (ilove the fillers in hxh)

The characters looks older than2011


But in the end both are best anime i ever seen .

1999 is better..2011 has better graphics and all..but 1999 has better soundtracks and voices to be honest...1999 is better....I wish they could bring 1999 soundtracks and voices back to 2011..would be better
