Well no Gai would get stompped reason being Obito has other jutsu to counter Gai with. He would just have a hard time sucking Gai up into the Kamui dimension. It would be better for Obito to phase his own body in and out of the Kamui dimension and follow up with whatever Sharingan or Uchiha jutsu he wishes. but if he tries to suck up Gai, he risks getting tagged with taijutsu.

At least we know that his kamui isn't instant and was able to match summoning speed like that guy said. Even he said "almost" so I guess he got the point

Unless Madara has Zetsu body, i believe he needs to eat and drink. But generally speaking placing one into his dimension isn't a defeat technically

He does...Madaras left arm is nao from Zetsu....I believe he can swap extremities with them at anytime. They are his creation....they come from within him. Obito is made of half and the same applies to him also.

I had kakashi's kamui in mind with that statement. Its still half valid for obito.
PS is still waste of chakra, it cant hurt obito nor can it prevent obito from slipping inside susanoo.

It wasn't mid teleportation. Kakshi began Kamui only moments before Madara Summond the Gedo Statue. Kakashi's kamui was incomplete because Madara summoned it away during the process. It wasn't done while Madara was teleporting the statue away. I thought someone already posted that?

What other jutsu does MS Obito possess? I actually can see Gai winning now that you mention it or at least resulting in a draw.

Well I don't want to downplay Gai here. I mean he is hands down one of the best Taijutsu users in the Narutoverse and he has trained himself to fight against the Sharingan. So he would definately give Obito a run for his money. But Obito does have fire style jutsu and he can use Kamui defensivley as we've seen in the manga against Gai.

But you do have a point. This really is VS thread worthy for sure. I believe Gai was fighting Obito at Gate 6. Gate 7 might actually be enough to topple Obito.

Well....if this is the Viz...then I'm convinced. No one as of currently has a "counter" to Kamui except Kakashi. Though....I still believe Madara can evade it, and defeat Obito. He just cannot "stop" Kamui. If the Viz is the most official translation? Some say ***********...I'm leaning more towards the Viz.

Seeing as Gai without gates was able to defend against being wrapped, Gai with Gates should able to counteract or at least making an interesting fight
