He didn't got defeated by Physical powers of two 17 years old kids,but psychologically by his past self, which emerged by the actions of two 17 years old kids' will,and defeated his former self in terms of resolution,and that's why subconsciously Obito let go of the Bijus. And seriously he was fighting Naruto and company for 80+ chapters,and you say it was short
