While "PS slash" is quite the reductionist argument, it isn't without merit. Slashes from Sasuke's "Perfect" Susanoo are far too deadly to tank and simultaneously Sasuke will be able to cover the battlefield with black flames; which would render the battlefield impossible to fight on for Gaara and Sasuke.
