Kurama has another plan , and that isn't to make Naruto juubi's jin ... I don't know what it is but that surely not :

1. If Naruto becomes juubi jin : that will totally be a borrowed power ... and after the war he will lose that power ... nobody respect the borrowed powers as much as original ones (kages , you dear NB friend)
As far as I remember Kaguya had 'borrowed' power and she actually stopped all conflict for a while and actually passed on the power to her child ....
2. If Naruto becomes juubi jin : he wont be able to control it like Obito did. He managed controlling Kurama 10-16years after he became jin. what about Juubi ? which is 10x bijuu
Actually wrong analysis, Naruto managed to hold down Kurama since he was born, managed to become friends with him and wrung wout his powers in 16 years. Not to mention Obito too had 0 exp as a jink and still managed the feat. Lastly, what Naruto has got is fragments of the Buji and thus can only be fragment of Jubi ....
3. Naruto must surpass kages ,father, and anyone else ( Most important Sasuke) with his own strength ,not juubi's one.
So he must surpass MS Sasuke or EMS Sasuke?
and after Madara's defeating , Naruto must keep his word to the bijuus ,let them free .
Silly reasoning .... cause Naruto can always let them go free after Madara is defeated (not to mention I cant see him having the Biju at all, only the Chakra they gifted to them) ..... Also it was Foretold by the Sage that oneday they will be one again and their power would be led in the correct way by a certain someone.
4. Naruto must surpass Hashirama's SM in order to become The greatest Hokgae of them All .
Explain how he can do that in middle of a fate of the world depends on it battle .... Also why is 17th Birthday the deadline for him achieving his goals?
5. Naruto wont get rinnegan ,and manifest his body with SO6P ... If he meets someone after Kurama's extraction that should be Jiraiya-man ( His appearance means more to Naruto than SO6P)
I think keeping his new found friend Kurama inside him and protecting his friends (RIP Neji) also meant a lot to him .... but did he get his way?
6. Naruto will be the best Senjutsu User of them all . He will surpass Hashirama, and definitely stop Madara (senjutsu >rinnegan) (senjutsu > EMS+ Kyuubi) ..
Explain how he can do it in middle of a battle? Though you have grain of truth there .... the Jubi chakra is actually Nature Chakra .... I will explain later.
These are my expectation about Naruto ... ( he may die , or lose Kurama , but He wont become juubi's jin : it makes no sense , and totally disappointment about everybody

Actually they look up and notice that Naruto actually tried make friends and was mostly kind to beings who were even considered monsters .... they in turn helped him rise to glory.
Naruto must be the best with his own strength ,just like Hashirama ....so everybody look up and says :" Im going to work hard , never give up and then I'll become just like Naruto "

My answer woould be no .... You must actually strive to do your best till the end and know that even if u fail there will be people in the next generation who will pick up your legacy and perhaps succeed one day.
Also Kakashi, Sasuke also became great and greater by 'borrowing' ......
(with "own strength I mean that Naruto SM > Naruto KCM )
Own strength means nothing if it cant get shit done ... there must always be a balance between Ideals and reality.
