Madara is obviously more powerful than Obito, even SSJ Obito [Juubito].. He even exclaims "thanks for saving me the trouble of weakening him [Juubito]".

Given how Madara/Zetsu recently dissed Obito hardcore is suggestive that Madara will wield the Juubi's powers much more efficiently. A boost in power is also likely although I don't think it's warranted.
