Is Deidara high kage?

I fail to understand how Deidara isn't high kage, when ranked.

It's because he lacks the defense that most other high kage level shinobi possess, He has great offense but should an attack slip thru his guard he can be quite squishy.

ppl such as the uchiha have things such as kamui, or susanoo, and Hashi basically recovers from most physical damage, and Naruto and Bee have their bijuu cloaks which can tank all but the strongest attacks. This is basically the only thing holding Deidara back from being high kage level imho.

Not to mention you need to be a practical genius to figure out clay's weakness and/or have dojutsu, as well as have raiton.

True enough, but the fact remains that if an attack does land on him it can easily maim or kill him. He's a top tier shinobi, and I do think he is a cut above the rest and is greatly underestimated around here, however he just can't compete with most high kage level shinobi in terms of defense.

I just want you to realize, Hashirama is not high kage. He is in a demi god tier. He surpasses any high kage. High kages include shinobi such as Itachi, MS Sasuke, Muu, Onoki, Gaara, Tobirama, Deidara, etc.

If an attack hits any shinobi, it can maim or kill them. And, in terms of defense shinobi like Muu and Oonoki fall pretty sure of a high kage ranking. But most will agree they are in that tier due to their destructive powers. Same deal with Deidara

Maybe a tad lower, between mid and high because he's definitely not mid-Kage. And before someone brings up "He lost to Hebi-Sasuke" - So? Hebi Sasuke is also Kage Level and had the elemental advantage. He was the perfect opponent for Sasuke.

Muu has the inviso factor and Oonoki lifted a titanic turtle the size of an island, not to mention the fact that the both have dust release which is one of the most powerful jutsu's in the manga, while deidara is pretty boss, he's simply not on their level. Those two are clearly above him, and I doubt he can get past any form of Susanoo barring the ribs.

Gaara is mid-high and Deidara doesn't fit in with those guys lol. U put him on Itachi's tier, when Itachi was about to solo him in 10 seconds
