Sasori vs. Deidara

It would be appreciated if you don't post the usual 'Deidara wins, hurr durr.' or 'Sasori wins. Diedera already said Sassori is stronger, hurr durr.' and actually explain why 'x' wins. I won't be debating for neither of them.​

IMO Sasori wins this with high / very high difficulty. C1 - C3 can be tanked by Iron Sand, C4 is useless becuase of obvious reasons.

The speed & versatility of satetsu is too much for deidara to handle & it can block most of his arsenal, not to mention one scratch & its over. Deidara doesnt start out on a bird? Then that would make it even worse for him to avoid the initial wave of satetsu.

Hiruko had a long mechanical, scorpion-like tail (an allusion to Sasori's name meaning "scorpion"), extending from the mouth of what appeared to be a demon mask on its back. Chiyo said this mask was a recent addition by Sasori to act as an extra defence to a weak point in the puppet. The tail worked as Hiruko's main offensive weapon and was laced with Sasori's speciality poison. The tail could also be used defensively by spinning around Hiruko's body at a rapid speed. Hiruko's left arm was also rigged with a projectile launcher capable of firing poisoned shrapnel and needles, and its mouth could also be used to serve a similar function of firing poisoned needles.

Sasori's favourite human puppet was the Third Kazekage, which retained its Magnet Release, which in turn grants Sasori access to the Iron Sand techniques. When mixed with Sasori's poison, the Iron Sand was given a more lethal edge. The Iron Sand could also be used to fill up the joints of other puppets, thus immobilising them. Due to the Iron Sand being derived from the Third's ability to convert chakra to magnetism, this grants Sasori immunity from metallic weapons. The Third's puppet's right arm held several poisoned blades, while the left arm could open up to reveal several summoning seals that summoned thousands of similar arms to attack the target. These arms were capable of crushing an opponent, emitting poisonous gas clouds, and releasing wires that dragged the opponent into the gas cloud. If these arms were cut off, a small buzz-saw took their place.

Although Sasori was thirty-five years old, he maintained the appearance of a teenage boy. His unnaturally young appearance was a product of the immortalisation of his design. Aside from his core, Sasori's body was actually a puppet. In place of his intestines was a thick cable coiled around a pole, allowing him to use it as a stinger and retract it if necessary.

As even the most elite of puppeteers cannot control more than ten puppets a time (one per finger), this technique is proof of Sasori's superiority with regard to the Puppet Technique. Also, normally a puppet's movement is dependent on the will of the user, and as such there will be a time lag between the user's commands and the puppet's response. However, since these hundred puppets are directly connected to Sasori's core, there is no time lag between Sasori's will and the puppets' movements.

I know it; but the amount of Sasori's sand is smaller compared to Gaara's sand; in same quantities it obviously tanks.

True he doesn't have enough sand but he has enough to create a dome like Gaara.

Sasori can definitely create enough sand to form at least a single spear before deidara can create & summon a bird.

But deidara wins, I don't know how people think sasori wins. Deidara's explosives are the perfect counter to his puppets... The iron sand is not agile enough to block explosives swiftly used... Basically deidara can attack and avoid at the same time which is the perfect counter to Sasori's attacks. C1s end the kazekage with their accuracy and swiftness and C2 takes out sasori and his 100 puppetss

If he is on the bird, IS won't hit him. And the amounts of IS Sasori can control is not as much as Gaara can control regular sand. Eventually, C1 or C2 will land as Deidara should know Sasori cannot breathe [C4 useless] and C3 would take forever to prep.

Indeed, all he needs is C2 to take out Sasori's core along with his hundred puppets

1. Iron sand should be able to protect him from C3.
2. C4 Kurara is useless, since Sasorí is a puppet so there is no need to breath.
3. Sasori has 100 puppets which are able to fly Deidara isn't able to spam bombs at that speed.
4. Once touched with poison it's over.
5. Sasori's body can reattach so a mere bird bomb won't do shit.
6. Sasori can switch Bodýs.

And beside Sandaime Kazekage he has 3 other puppets to possibly destroy Deídará

iron sand wont be able to stop his bombs every time, deidara has been shown to manipulate the movements and directions of his clay bombs he can easily distract sasori with a feint and make a clay bomb fly behind sasori and detonate it.
