[Discussion] Naruto Uzumaki/Senju?

Hi there I just want to put down a little exercise in logic that we can think over.

Okay so far it looks like evidence is leaning towards the Uzumaki clan being a simple branch clan of the Senju, if this is true and the Uzumaki are not a separate bloodline then Naruto must share the Senju lineage.

This does indeed make sense for the whole Sasuke vs Naruto parallel/rivalry ala Elder son vs Younger son. However the powers that they feature do no match up for a complete parallel.

Sasuke features the fully realized powers of the Sharingan much like Madara did back when he faced Hashirama. In other words he is an exemplar for the Uchiha clan.

Naruto however seems to be the odd man out in this match up. Indeed he features the ability to use Senjutsu like Hashirama but this is not an ability restricted by blood. It is an ability that anyone of sufficient chakra capacity can learn to wield. He also holds Kurama a biju, again not an "ability" granted by blood though his own vitality grants him the capability to hold the most powerful Biju. Indeed Naruto has featured a distinctly strong/tireless body whether that is his lineage or a unique ability of the Kyuubi Jin we really can't say.

I would like to point out the distinct lack of "Senju" traits, it order for Naruto to properly parallel Sasuke he must exemplar the Senju much like Sasuke exemplars the Uchiha. In order for this Parallel/Rivalry to be completed Naruto should have the Mokuton to exemplar the senju powers.

In conclusion:

Either Kishi plans to give Naruto the Mokuton (haha) or the Uzumaki are a completely separate clan from the contemporary Senju by direct blood relation, IE Naruto doesn't have the younger sons bloodline which = Mokuton.

So again I would believe we are still in the dark on how the Uzumaki fit into this spaghetti junction of family relations.

2. Semantics Sasuke is the new exemplar of a new "cycle" Madara is a relic, one that won't last much longer. Do you really see him lasting another arc until the Sasuke vs Naruto rematch which will inevitably happen?

3. Show me a scan where it says this. In fact there is a distinct statement from Madara that suggests that Tsunade is a shameful senju for not even having a limited version of the Mokuton. Hence Mokuton must be more common than just Hashirama's usage of it.

Good points I know the uzumaki and uchida are related the mask and the tablet confirmed that for me. Think about it why would they both have a combined ability if they were never close. Now I know slot of people think the namikaze is not a clan but I belive they were and I belive they are related to senju. Why do I think that the forbidden jutsus that the second and the fourth along with Naruto. I find it odd that they all share shadow clone and in the case of the hokages ftg now they may not be senju exclusives but then why has no one else used them? The reason the namikaze are a mystery is plot so it leaves us in the dark about Naruto having both sons DNA.
Naruto will unlock the sons eyes not the rinnagan or the cursed eyes that Madara and Sasuke have.

I'm sort of inclined to consider the Uzumaki being a middle ground between the two lineages.

Just speculating here, but what if the Uzumaki were an incest middle ground between the lineages of the elder and younger sons?

Kishi has drawn a miniature family tree but has written gibberish instead of actual names. Just like when he first introduced the Toad Scroll.
But seeing that so many marriages have happened in just a small part of said scroll, it's not farfetched to assume that the two lineages might have bred somewhere along the line. The scroll I mention is in the background of the first panel from the right in the middle.

It's stated that the elder son was granted with the eyes and powerful chakra of the Sage, while the younger got his body, life force and physical energy.

But why does the strong body and life force seem to manifest itself more in the Uzumaki heritage than the Senju?
It has been mentioned countless times in the manga.

The Uzumaki sealing techniques are directly linked to the Sage himself. Kurama confirms it.

Four out of the five confirmed Uzumaki's we've seen have had an immense amount of chakra that was special in a way that it was able to suppress the Kyuubi in three occasions (Mito, Kushina and Naruto) and was able to handle the Rinnegan even though it was a foreign doujutsu (Nagato) on one occasion.

They seem to possess both the life force of the younger and the chakra of the elder son. :shrug:
I have a feeling that something's going to be revealed about the clan. They seem to be too important to just be dubbed as the distant relatives of the Senju.

Uzumaki are distant relatives of the Senju and Uchiha, what you surest implies close not distant relationship. Kishi says distant that their kills your theory.
