Madara and Obito needed to have the tree look into the moon to awaken Tsuki no Me, but thats just the sealing stone. Nothing else is in there, is it? The God tree, Gedo Mazou (a.k.a. Ten Tails), is the God Tree. So what else is in the Moon? Is it SO6P chakra or something, becuase it can't just look up at a non-special moon. Tsuki n Me is a Genjutsu, genjutsu is created when a ninja controls the chakra flow of the opponent's cerebral nervous system, thereby affecting their five senses. So there has to be something with A LOT of chakra in there to be able to control the enitre Earth. What could it be, discuss please.

Cant cast genjutsu on a non organism lol , but you can cast genjutsu on the moon. I guess the moon is alive , but the earth is too and can you cast a genjutsu to the planet itself? Maybe?

In Naruto logic the Moon was artficially added to the Solar System, since it was made from by the SO6P. So, it isn't really made naturally it's just a jutsu. So their Moon may be alive, but their Earth is not since, as far as we know, their Earth is made naturally.
