[Discussion] Senju clan... where are they???

Apart from Tsunade there are no descendants of the most powerful clan that basically took out the Uchihas and got them to join in creating the leaf. Why have the Senju clan disappeared?

The Uzumaki clan are indirect descendants because Hashirama married an Uzumaki but that wouldnt make all the Uzumakis descendants because there would only be 1 line of the clan with senju dna. So Naruto wont even have it like a lot of people are saying. And Kushina would know that she was part of it because if Tsunade is the granddaughter of Hashirama thats only 2 generations. Kushina would know if she was that important. Also Tsunade would be an Uzumaki too right?

Or Kishi didn't plan them originally..

The senju clan split in small clans like hatake I think or sarutobi or yamanaka..who knows???
It's weird that the uchiha staid together so much time and the senju not...

Their lineage diluted, and began to take on other clan names. Tsunade's surname was never revealed I don't believe, however, she is part Senju/Uzumaki (Hashirama and Mito - grandparents)

other than that, I can only guess that they all stepped out of the boundaries of the term clan and diluted as time went on.

And who df said that the Senju nearly wiped out the Uchiha Clan
On top of that, they did not get them to join in creating the leaf it was only Hashirama that got Madara to agree to joining the Leaf, and since Madara and Hashirama were both the clan leaders of the time period and THE strongest in the clan, the rest of the clan had no choice in the matter and just had to go along with it

Unlike Clans like the Hyuuga and the Uchiha who only bred within the Clan, the Senju mixed their genes with other people. So there is no more Senju Clan because they're so spread out now. Anyone could have a bit of Senju in them.Right?

Actually eventually many in the Uchiha clan wanted to accept Hashirama's offer. There were even defectors joining the senju before the leaf was even created as the senju clan was just stronger at this point in time.
